Brazilian Jiu Jitsu And Muay Thai at the same time?

Im 13 years old, and want to start getting a lot more skilled at fighting due to my environment at school. After some research and watching UFC, it seems like Muay Thai and BJJ are the basics all of the fighters use. Im about 5’1 ( Small guy) and 95 pounds. Due to my size Im regularly attacked and usually get my ass handed to me. Ive gotten kind of sick of joking my way out of things, and think I should stand up for myself. Ive located some good Muay Thai and BJJ facilities near me, and Im probably going to try and start doing them both. I want to do both so I can stand up fight when I have to, and can also handle myself on the ground. Against guys 5’6+, I need all the help I can get, and Im thinking if I combine Muay Thai and BJJ, I should have an outcome more than desirable. My main concern is that it may be difficult to learn both at the same time, such as techniques getting mixed together. But then I counter argue myself, telling myself that one is on the ground and one is a kickboxing style. For those of you who have had experience in either of these subjects, tell me if you think I was hard to do your martial art, and if you think doing two at one time would be a bad idea? Also… Me being 5’1 and 95 pounds, could martial arts even help me against a 5’6 and 130 pound guy? Im sure some of you will be saying that I should contact an adult or counselor, but I have tried, and to no avail. My school isn’t exactly zero tolerance. Its probably more like 65% tolerance with no weapons aloud… So in my mind, taking a fighting style like Muay Thai and BJJ would help me. Tell me what you think.
Thanks, Chase
