trouble with styles like this is, yes they look good, but there doesn't seem to be high levels of contact in them and if that isn't there you cant pressure test it to see if it would work in the street unlike boxing, thai boxing, grappling etc as geoff thompson said step out your comfort zone to test yourself, even if its with your own style, see if it works, it may or may not, but at least you'll know

lol hgreb, never seen it like that, i'll have to change it now. Eskrima might be a good idea it has to work in that part of the world or you get killed, simple as that. Thanks for planting the seed mate. Any one interested in good debate about all styles try martial arts planet, its really good.

On 1.26 I believe it is a mistake to turn your back on your opponent. From here he can let go of your arm and hit the back of your head or choke you and you wont be able to do anything. There are a variety of other moves in the wing chun system to deal with this type of lock on the arm.

Thanks for the comment kelly980. The point of the example on the trailer was to utilise the Wing Chun maxim of hit with the free hand. You are correct in stating that there are a variety of other moves in the system and this was just one example. Thanks again.
